Food Made With Care, Meant to Be Shared

Hayah Treats was created out of a love for food, community, and the simple joy of sharing a meal. The word Hayah means life in Arabic, and that idea guides everything we do — from how we choose ingredients to how we show up for the people who enjoy our food.

What started as a passion for cooking and creativity grew into a belief that vegan food should feel familiar, comforting, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone — not just those following a plant-based lifestyle.

Our Story

Hayah Treats was founded by Halimah and Tareq, whose backgrounds in education, microbiology, engineering, and IT shaped how they approach food: thoughtfully, intentionally, and with care.

Before focusing fully on Hayah Treats, they ran Harmony Gardens, a vegan-friendly restaurant where their desserts and falafel quickly became customer favorites. When the restaurant closed in 2022, they chose to pour their energy into growing Hayah Treats — bringing the same recipes, values, and sense of hospitality into packaged foods people could enjoy at home.

That’s why our recipes are made with 100% natural, real ingredients, no shortcuts, and nothing artificial. We focus on balance — honoring tradition while making food that fits into modern, everyday life.
